Client Needs:

Brooklyn Seltzer Boy Factory, with its century-old legacy, is transforming its active seltzer production space into a dual-purpose museum to attract urban tourists and school groups after hours. The challenge lies in designing a space that is inclusive and versatile, accommodating adults, children, individual visitors, and groups, while offering both guided and self-guided experiences. The design must seamlessly integrate with the factory's ongoing operations, ensuring minimal disruption to workers and daily activities. The factory initiated a competitive design challenge at Teachers College to find the best proposal.

Solution Summary:

After conducting an on-site needs analysis, I spearheaded the creation of a project-based learning solution for a seltzer production factory. This innovative approach involved developing an interactive app to elucidate scientific processes for visitors. Leading my team, I successfully pitched this concept in a design competition, securing a winning position.

Overseeing the project from inception to final delivery within a stringent $1,000 budget, I effectively coordinated with instructional designers, a 3D modeler, and a software programmer. My astute project management across multiple phases of design review, user testing, and iterative development was pivotal in crafting an engaging and educational experience for kids and adults

Final Delivery:

• 1 interactive seltzer machinery learning app which illustrates the three-dimentional inner workings of three critical machines involved in seltzer production.

• 3 three-dimensional virtual models of key machines in the factory.
